Why isn't anyone using WMA for upoalds? A 16kbps WMA is so much better than a 16kbps mp3. There is a freeware program called Free mp3 WMA Converter, that does a wonderful job of coding files. It would give better quality to listen to.

16kbps *anything" is worse than useless.

For audio that's predominantly speech I'd suggest 48kbps mono is the absolute bare minimum. Any lower and you get "aliasing" which ruins the listening pleasure.

What I was trying to say, was that what I downloaded was 16kbs Mp3. And I agree, 16kbs is terrible, but if people used WMA format instead of Mp3 it would sound better. I myself use 64kbs WMA because it is the same or better than 128kbs Mp3's. 32kbs WMA's would be the same or better than 64kbs Mp3's. Using WMA format would make for smaller download size, but the same quality or better, at least if you are making them from WAV files.
